As the title says the word, ‘Chord’ by which we mean that this is the land which will directly connect you to untouched and authentic regions of Himalayas.  The Land of the Most Highest Mountain in the World – Mt. Everest, well that’s not what Nepal is all about, as the infamous ‘Annapurna Ranges’, the beautiful cities of Pokhara and Nepal are also amongst those beauties of Nepal.

Apart from all those adventures in Nepal, it is also known to be a pilgrimage place as the major religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and the Pashupatinath Temple , the world’s largest temple of Shiva, located in Kathmandu apart from this the infamous Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha is also located in South West region of Nepal.  The road to Tatopani and Muktinath are one of those which the real motorcycle enthusiasts would love to ride. Crossing cold water streams, and riding through giant rocks on your enfield’s is one of the best part of adventure tour of Nepal.

TOUR ITINERARY

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Kathmandu (1350m)

    On the very first day of the tour after your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you’ll be meet and be greeted by a Himalaya Rides Crew who’ll assist you in transferring to the hotel in a vehicle. By the evening we will give you time to checkout your motorcycles which will be going to be your partner for the next few days. We will be organizing a special Nepali Dinner as a welcome gesture in Nepal

  • Day 2

    Day Off at Kathmandu (1350m)

    The day when you’ll explore the infamous ‘Kathmandu’ city. Where you’ll get to witness  Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple in a private vehicle along with a local guide who’ll be assisting you for these places and for the local Kathmandu market. By evening, after reaching the hotel you’ll be briefed by our Team and general guidelines will be provided for the tour.

  • Day 3

    Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m, 210km, 8-9hrs)

    We’ll be starting the day early in the morning and after a good healthy breakfast, we will maneuver through the traffic out of Kathmandu city and enjoy the Himalayan mountains, valleys and rivers all the way to Pokhara, where views of the glorious Annapurna Mountains including the famous Fish Tail Mountain will greet us. Surrounded by the magnificent 8000m high peaks of the Annapurna range, Pokhara is a paradise with its crystal clear lakes.

  • Day 4

    Pokhara to Tatopani (1220m, 105km, 3-4hrs)

    The ride for this day won’t be that much long but yes it will definitely challenging but the picturesque locations will make your day amazing.The Baglung Highway towards Beni provides fantastic mountain vistas, picturesque, terraced farmlands and an opportunity to walk or ride on one of Nepal’s famous suspension bridges. Off-road tracks and some river crossings take us to Tatopani. ‘Tato’ means ‘hot’ and ‘Pani’ means ‘water’, a name earned by courtesy of the hot springs and is a popular place for trekkers [and bikers] to relax and soak their weary bodies.

  • Day 5

    Tatopani to Muktinath (3800m, 70km, 2hrs)

    You’ll be witnessing these famous ranges of Nepal Himalayas – Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche (6920m) and Nilgiri (7061m) en route. The sceneries include rugged landscapes, beautiful cascading waterfalls, orange and apple orchards, scattered roadside villages and ancient Buddhist monasteries to take your breath away. A variety of road surfaces and a stretch of desert plateau, take us to Muktinath where we’ll visit the Muktinath Temple, sacred for Hindus and Buddhists. We will be serving hot dinner at the hotels, where your overnight stay will also be arranged by our team.

  • Day 6

    Muktinath to Kalopani (2530m, 70km, 2hrs)

    After a  good sunrise of the day we will start the ride for this day a bit late as the total distance for the day is not much. We willride through Kagbeni (2840m) which is a fascinating medieval village with closely packed mud brick houses, dark alleys and imposing chortens. It is situated along the Annapurna trekking route and is the gateway to Upper Mustang. The village stands in a little green oasis dominated by its red monastery.

  • Day 7

    Kalopani to Pokhara (827m, 126km, 3-4hrs)

    We will be starting our day with the road down to Tatopani, through Jaleswor and on to Beni. After a quick stop, we set out following the trail along the river and then after about an hour meet the main highway at Maldhunga and continue on tarmac to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore around the Lakeside Bazaar.

  • Day 8

    Pokhara Day Off

    Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas. You’ll be getting the whole day at Pokhara to Explore and trek to these famous spots in the city and by evening a hot and delicious dinner will wait for you at the hotels.

  • Day 9

    Pokhara to Chitwan (208m, 167km, 5-6hrs)

    We ride to Sauraha, just outside Chitwan, the oldest national park in Nepal which was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984. Around sunset, guests are taken for a canoe safari to view and photograph wildlife, but yes Himalaya Rides never encourage for disturbing the nature and animals for our own excursion so we will make sure to do that in a very disciplined manner. Your dinner and overnight stay for the day in Hotels/Tents.

  • Day 10

    Chitwan to Nagarkot via Kathmandu (2170m, 200km, 8-9hrs)

    Nagarkot is a village in central Nepal, at the rim of the Kathmandu Valley. It’s known for its views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest to the northeast, which are especially striking at sunrise and sunset. The surrounding scrubland is laced with trails and home to many butterflies. To the west is the ancient, pagoda-style Changunarayan Temple, dedicated to Vishnu and a Hindu pilgrimage site.

  • Day 11

    Nagarkot to Kathmandu (1350m, 115km, 3-4hrs)

    After so many days of riding into these remote areas of Nepal, we will be back to the capital city Kathmandu. We will reach early to our hotels in Kathmandu, and thereafter you’ll be getting enough time to relax and explore the city for the day.

    By evening we will be hosting a farewell for everyone, and will make the most out of your last day to make it memorable.

  • Day 12

    Departure from Kathmandu

    On the last day you’ll be transferred to the airport by one of our crew member via a pirvate taxi or bus. You can board your flights back according to the timings booked by you.
